Together with farming families, we research and experiment with new ways of fighting poverty and hunger, of conserving nature and respecting human dignity.
The impact of our work is widespread when other individuals and organisations learn from our experiences, mistakes and successes. So we willingly share the methods that worked for us on the ground.
Knowledge is shared locally and with the farming families we work with. We publicise the methods proven by Iles de Paix and the farmers. We conduct “farmer to farmer” training sessions, “learning visits”, radio broadcasts, “knowledge fairs”, etc.
We also share the lessons we learned with other local and international organisations and anyone else we meet along the way. To constantly improve, we take part in seminars, conferences and workshops.
We publish the Farmers’ Alternatives series, a capitalization magazine which discusses and shares our experiences on different topics and methods related to agro-ecology transition.
